Happy Halloween!

Well, we had our first family Halloween! Due to so much generosity, we had way to many Halloween outfits, so I had to rotate them throughout the week.

Ella looked so cute in every outfit she wore!

The Domholt Grandparents came to celebrate her first Halloween with us!

We went to the Tito's but didn't stay long- we decided a night by the fire was calling our names!

Overall it was a successful night. We can't wait until she can walk and get us some FREE CANDY!!

Festival

Last weekend was great!

Brian's folks came to visit, as well as Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Richard.

We went to a democratic rally for a bit, but the heat and direct sun chased us away.

Then we ventured to the Brewery for lunch, followed by a stroll through our local museum.

Ella really likes when people come visit, so don't be shy. She is looking forward to Grandma and Grandpa Domholt coming for Halloween weekend!

Here are some recent photos, unfortunately I didn't take any of her with Cheryl and Richard. ={

the adjustment

The next few weeks have been quite an adjustment here at the A frame!

Ella is getting bigger by the day, her recent weight was 8 lbs, 9 oz! Boy how she is growing. She loves to eat, just like her mama.

She has had many visitors and loves the attention, so much that she gets fussy if you set her down these days!

Ella turns 1 month on Saturday (Nov. 1).

We're really looking forward to her first Halloween...I guess it's to early to go trick or treating and get candy for mom and dad... =}
I'll try to keep you posted with updates and pictures!

Leaving the hospital

October 2, 2008

The hospital released us and we were able to go home. The drive up the canyon made me a so nervous, but Ella did great.

We had our families there to help out, and Ella was just as perfect as we could have wished for. We could tell she was very smart and strong for her age! =}

The Beginning

October 1, 2008 10:41 am

After a long 15 hours of labor, baby Ella was born into the world. She was 6 lbs. 13 oz and 19 3/4 long.
Labor didn't go as planned, but both Ella and mama came out fine!

She had lots of visitors to welcome her!

Grandma and Grandpa Domholt came to meet her, followed by her Auntie Elizabeth, Jenny, and little Luke, a nice drive from the bay area.

Grandma Mauer came all the way from Red Bluff.

The Bogart family came from Bakersfield, as well as the Bosmans, Tito's and Luth.
