Christimas

Ella finally had her first Christmas!

The best part of Christmas was that Ella got to meet and spend lots of time with family members!

Here she is with her Uncle Robert

Here she is enjoying some Grandpa and Grandma time!

Followed by a bit of mommy and daddy time....

Is this a long lost cousin??

She finally got to meet her Great Grandma Ella Ruth, who she is named after....

Everything seems to make her smile! What a happy baby!

Ella is loving her Great Aunt Cheryl

She also loves her Great Aunt Nanette and Uncle Frank!

Pre-Christmas prep

Here is our little angel trying on a Christmas outfit...

We took Ella on a hike to Bull Run, a beutiful hiking trail about 1 mile from our house. She loved it! After our Thanksgiving trip, Ella found she could smile whenever she was happy, and so she does...

HEY! IT'S SANTA!!!

It snowed at our house! Here we are outside showing Ella the snow for the first time! We put Ella in the cute bear hat to go with her brown bear outfit...

We took her to the park in town to enjoy the holiday lights.

Here is our family picture a the light display...

OK, you caught me, it's not the "real" Santa, well, not even a breathing Santa, but who's being picky!?

Thanksgiving

Boy am I behind! First, Ella got to replace the "baby" of the family, Amanda. I wasn't sure how Panda would react, but she seemed to get along great with Ella.

Then we began our road trip to Red Bluff, so she could see Ella's other grandparents as well as meet her great grandma Sue. We decided to give her her first driving lesson...hehehe....
Here she is SOOOOO excited to meet her great grandma Sue. Daddy is making her smile! Boy does she love him!

Here is a picture of 4 generations of Mauers!!
This was just too cute to resist. Ella is wearing a shirt her great Aunt Nanette gave her.

We had a great trip overall, but we were sure happy when we got home! Here is a couple from a random exit on the I-5 we took so I could feed her. She wanted a stroll through the trees....
