Thanksgiving road trip

We decided to make a road trip of our Thanksgiving trip, which included family, friends, and camping.  Here are a few photos from out trip.

This was  our trip in a nutshell.  A big adventure and full of fun memories!

Yosemite

We took a trip to Yosemite in November and had to bundle up because it was cold!  Temp. dropped into the 20’s…brrrr….

 

We were camping with a large group of friends, one of which had their son Colton with them.  Here are the kids sharing some snacks at a kid sized picnic table.

Halloween

 

This year I decided to make our costumes and transform our family into octopus.  Here are our home-made costumes.  We had a great time trick or treating and Brian and I enjoyed all the candy Ella worked so hard to get (forget child labor laws!).  I told her it was her job as a big sister to donate it to the new baby…ha-ha….

We all had a great time!

 

 

 

Sea World

Thanks to a friend, we got free tickets to Sea World, so we went on down and spent a couple hours walking around…here are some highlights…

Ella’s First Birthday

We spent Ella’s first birthday in Folsom with Elizabeth and John.  Ella got to have her first cupcake, and boy did our little pirate enjoy that experience!!

Elizabeth and I took Ella to the steam train during the day…

 

Followed by a trip to the zoo…

September update...

Over labor day weekend, we met mom, dad, Elizabeth and John in Sonora while we were doing some work on the Tuolumne river.

Over this past weekend, we headed off to Catalina Island for a wedding. We had a great time of Ocean playing, hiking, and playing in the sand. The great news is Ella doesn't get sea sick like her mom does! Brian and I even got to sneak away for a couples snorkel!
