Well, today we decided to take our first family trip up river into the high country and show Ella what the big trees look like.
We saw lots of different types of trees, with the giant sequoias stealing the show.

Itwas sunny, but cold-in the 50's. I would like to pretend like Ella was blown away, but she really just slept through a lot of it!
We stopped in a meadow on the way home to have a picnic and take more photos of her.

Kris, your baby is so beautiful!! I am glad to finally see her. When things slow down here I will come and visit so I can hold a baby who sits still. My baby will be 1 on friday - crazy!!!
